Travel items you need for your next trip

There are just some things I refuse to travel without. From my Boujee eye mask to my mini toiletries, I've put together a list of must haves for your next trip. Any of the items on this list would also make for great Christmas / birthday gifts for family or friends who love to travel.

Drowsy Silk Sleep Mask

I recently purchased these for our trip to LA and I'm never going back to a normal eye mask. These masks are made from pure silk with a padded interior, making them light blocking and super breathable.

AirPods or similar

There's nothing worse than having a battle with cabled headphones whilst rummaging through your bag for your passport or documents. AirPods are so much easier to use and pack, and allow for a more freeing flight.

Neck Pillow

If you only travel first class, you won't need one of these, but for those of use flying premium or less, neck support is a game changer. I recently bought this exact pillow for the both of us a few years ago as I liked how you can change the shape depending on which way you want to lay.

Luggage Scales

Avoid paying luggage fee's at the airport by accurately weighing your bags at home before you leave. I also take mine away with us so I know how much I can buy without going over the weight limit.

Packing Cubes

These are like marmite, some people love them, some hate them. The main thing I've heard people say about these, are that they can end up making your clothes wrinkled. Personally? I'd rather be able to fit 5 extra outfits in my case and iron them when I get there.

Adapters with Multi-Funcions

If you're going to get anything on this list, let this be it. These adapters can be used anywhere in the world, have two USB ports and two USB C Ports, you'll be able to charge almost all of your appliances at once.

Power Bank

If you're planning to use your phone for photos, and plan to do a lot of sightseeing I'd highly recommend investing in a power bank. There's nothing worse than ending your day with a dead phone and no way to pick up an uber.

Toiletries Bottles

Another marmite item, but for me a must have. If you're going on a short trip and aren't looking to check a bag, having mini bottles of your favourite products is a life saver.

Bag Organiser

I've just ordered myself one of these for our next trip and I get sick of rummaging through my bags to find what I'm looking for. I plan to keep my AirPods, wires, and other small items in here.
